The SlydeForge story
Where the name comes from, who builds the tool, and how it evolves.
The Y is the fork — not a typo
Visually, a Y is a fork: a single trunk splitting into several branches. That's exactly what SlydeForge does — one source, forged once, then branching into as many formats as you need: an editable presentation, a narrated video, an export fit for every screen. The Y isn't a swap for the letter i, it's a design choice: our logo literally draws that fork, three streams rising from a single forge.
A personal project
SlydeForge is designed and built by Emilien Morel as a spare-time project. It's a personal project: it doesn't belong to any company.
A tool that grows with its users
The brand themes, workflow components and real-world feedback shared on this site directly shape the next releases. An idea, a bug, a suggestion? They go straight to the author.
