Site publisher
This site is a personal project, published and developed by Emilien Morel on his own free time — it is not owned by any company. For any question, please use the contact form rather than a public email address.
Publication director
Emilien Morel.
Hosting
This site is hosted by OVH SAS, a simplified joint-stock company with a share capital of €50,000,000, registered with the Lille Métropole Trade and Companies Register under number 424 761 419, with registered offices at 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France.
Intellectual property
The content of this site (text, visuals, layout) belongs to its publisher, unless otherwise stated. The SlydeForge application is a personal project, proprietary — all rights reserved by its author; it is free to download and use, but it isn't an open-source license (no OSI label) and the source code isn't provided. Contributions are welcome — submit them via the contact form, they are reviewed by the author before any merge. Reproducing this site's content without permission is prohibited.
Business model
Downloading and basic use of SlydeForge are free, including full use of the AI engine with your own access to a provider (Azure OpenAI, GitHub Models, GitHub Copilot Enterprise, or Ollama locally). Some marketplace components are offered as a one-time purchase or a subscription, depending on the component — a component bought outright stays yours indefinitely, including after cancelling a subscription, and isn't refunded if a subscription taken out afterwards already includes it. Optional subscriptions may include access to the SlydeForge API (AI tokens run through SlydeForge's own account rather than your own key, within a monthly quota) and/or access to the full component catalog. As long as revenue stays under the French micro-enterprise VAT exemption thresholds (art. 293 B of the French tax code), VAT does not apply and is not shown on invoices.
Right of withdrawal
Under articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you have 14 days from any purchase (a one-time component or a subscription) to request a full refund, no questions asked, via the contact form. After that period, a cancelled subscription runs until the end of the period already paid for, with no refund; a component bought outright stays yours, non-refundable.
Personal data
This site follows GDPR principles (EU General Data Protection Regulation) and aims to align with equivalent principles in other jurisdictions (e.g. UK GDPR, California's CCPA/CPRA): minimal collection, no sale of data, no advertising tracking, no profiling.
Contact form
Name, email, subject, message and any attachment are sent by email to the site's author so they can reply. This information is NOT stored in a database on the site — it only ever travels by email.
In-app feedback (API)
If you send feedback from the SlydeForge application (👍/👎, comment), it is recorded on the site to be handled as a support ticket (status, internal notes): the feedback content, category, app version, and the source IP address (used to limit abuse). Kept until handled and then manually deleted by the administrator.
Internal analytics
This site uses a minimal, cookie-free, self-hosted analytics system — no third-party service (no Google Analytics or equivalent): page view counts, an estimate of daily unique visitors, download clicks, and approximate visit duration. No IP address is retained: the identifier used to avoid double-counting the same visitor is a single-use fingerprint, recalculated every day, which cannot identify you or track you across days or across other sites.
External resource
The site's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) — your browser therefore contacts this third-party service to fetch them, which may reveal your IP address to it. No other external resource is used.
Marketplace purchases
A marketplace component purchase or subscription is handled by a third-party payment provider (Stripe or PayPal, your choice), which receives your payment details directly — never sent to or stored by SlydeForge. This site only keeps the email used for the purchase, the identifier of the SlydeForge install involved, and the transaction metadata (product, amount, status, dates) — needed to activate the purchase and provide support. That email is linked to only one install at a time; email verification is required to activate or transfer a purchase to a new install.
Hosted AI (SlydeForge API)
If your subscription includes the SlydeForge API (AI tokens run through SlydeForge's own account rather than your own key), your requests pass through the site's server and then OpenAI, a processor for this use only — never for the app's other three AI backends (Copilot Enterprise, GitHub Models, an OpenAI-compatible API/Azure/Ollama you configure yourself), which remain outside SlydeForge's scope regardless of your plan.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, and delete data concerning you, exercisable via the contact form. You may also lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority (the CNIL in France, or the equivalent authority in your country of residence).
